Grampians Shoot in the can

Just returned from a great Video/Stills shoot in the Grampians for Paul Gurung of Discovery World Trekking. Time to start sorting through the footage and photo's and spend some time infront of the computer. It was a jam packed 2 days getting a range of climbing and hiking routes on film. Below is a couple of BTS shots to wet the apetite.

I got in a bit of a climb too, me on "overkill"

I need friends...

Or a wireless remote, after todays group ride fell through I deceided to hit a local spot and get some Self timer shots. I thought I'd at least get 2 or 3... after 45 missed shots either ot making the move or potentially predicatably ot counting down correctly in my head I managed one frame. A special request to canon engineers from losers like my is to make the self timer beeps louder...

Luckily however sometimes people can stand to be around me and we see a bit better riding.

Street Walking

Switch made, now it's all Canon all the time. I made the jump mostly due to video capabilities and a matched system. While i was a little nervous committing but that was out the window when I saw the files that came from the 5DII 16-35/24-70/70-200. However before these get turned on to a model or professional athlete I did what everyone does when they get new gear and went for a stroll around the neighbourhood.

Latest from me

I've been putting a little bit of footage together and thought I should make it into something before I start filming for a web edit with Joe.

Shot on the Canon 60D with a Canon 24-70 2.8L and a Tokina 11-16 2.8 both in 720P 50fps and 1080P at 25fps. Mostly just to do a test for later productions.

Art WORK

A couple of weeks ago I saw a quote along the lines of "they call it art work not art fucking around" this piece is very much in that vein. 210 hours and over 3 million dots. This is one of the cooler things I've seen.
